Zippy Chicks Consignment Policy

• Consignors may drop off items they wish to consign in a reusable tote at 4732 Main Street, Manchester Center, VT 05255, by booking an appointment at zippychicks.com
• Consignors are limited to one tote per week (approximately 25 items) per consignor.
• Consignors may select to donate the items we do not accept or choose to return to the shop to pick up the no’s within 3 business days. Items left after the 3-day notice will forfeit to donation.  Items that are donated are not logged into our records for tracking.
• Zippy Chicks accepts, prices, and sells your items. Consignors receive a percentage of the final sale price, less associated fees, which credits that account in 8 days to allow for returns. Consignors receive 35% of the selling price, Zippy Chicks retains 65%. Luxury brands, as determined by management, may be paid at a higher consignment split to consignor.  Please be sure to discuss with owner to discuss pricing if a specific amount is desired.
• All Jewelry will be paid out $1/per piece on costume and standard consignment on higher end brands/pieces. Consignors must inform management at drop if they require items to be paid higher due to value and review pricing within 3 days of drop completion email to change.
• Consignment term is 60 days unless determined otherwise by management. Consignors can keep track of their pickup dates on our consignor login portal available on our website.
• Items left after expiration date will become property of Zippy Chicks. They may be liquidated or donated to Bennington Early Child Center or another charity of our choice. 
• Consignors must give Zippy Chicks 24 hours’ notice before picking up their unsold items.
• Items pulled by consignor before the contract expiration date will be charged a fee equal to 20% of the retail price per item, unless otherwise approved by management.
• We conduct sales periodically to move inventory and use a markdown schedule- items will be marked down accordingly.
• Consignors can use their account credit in the store to purchase items or take a funds at any time. Credits under $25 may be paid out to you in cash.  Credits over $25 will be paid by check.
• Checks may be mailed upon request for a fee of $2.00.
• After 1 year of inactivity, remaining balance will transfer to store credit only. ‘Activity’ includes selling an item, taking a check, or using account credit.
• Zippy Chicks reserves the right to store off-season inventory for the consignors without access permissions. 60 day term begins when items hit the sales floor- dates are updated accordingly.
• Zippy Chicks reserves the right to terminate the consignment relationship at any time, if we deem the relationship is not productive for business.
• We will take reasonable precautions to protect your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss
